Women's Swimming Stays Undefeated, Defeat John Jay in CUNYAC Action

FULL RESULTS

The women's swimming team will head into the final exam and holiday break undefeated after recording a 115-79 home meet win against John Jay College on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats won 10 of the 11 events this evening to stay undefeated at 7-0 and 2-0 in the CUNYAC standings.

The team once again broke records led by sophomore Kira Chen who broke the school record in the 50 meter backstroke and 100 meter backstroke events.

Allyse Alexander, who earlier in the day was voted the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week for third time this season, broke the school and freshman record in the 100-meter butterfly, while also breaking the 200-meter freestyle freshman record.

The Bearcats will now go on beak and resume their schedule in January preparing for the final stretch of the season and CUNYAC Finals.
