Bearcats Win at Lehman in Thursday Night CUNYAC Meet Action

Men: Baruch 134, Lehman 51

The swimming teams each recorded a CUNYAC win on Thursday night at The APEX on the campus of Lehman College in the Bronx.

The visiting Bearcats posted big scores as they continued preparations for the conference finals at the end of the month.

The top highlight of the evening for the Bearcats was Ramiel Fayngersh breaking the school freshman record in the 500 Free finishing first with a time of 5:05.30.

Bennett Maczka won the 200-yard free by almost five seconds at 1:47.35. 

Joyce Wong was first in the 50 free with a quick time of 28.27.

Kaetlyn Chavez won the 100-yard free with a time of 1:00.67, which was 17 seconds better than her second-place finisher.
