Benjamin Chu is in his tenth season on the swimming coaching staff.

He was an undergraduate member of two Baruch CUNYAC championship teams that would go on to successfully compete in the ECAC Open Finals. Ben still holds two school records as a member of the 400-Meter Medley and Freestyle Relays.

Ben was a member of the Bearcats relay team (along with Annelie Gregor ’09, Jessica Penaherrera-Kang ’10, R. Michael Shiwnath ’11, Gabriel Yanez ’13 & Patrick Campbell ’13) that participated in the Manhattan Island Swim, which was a relay that swam 28.5 miles around the island of Manhattan to raise money for NYC Swim Free in 2011.

He graduated in 2011 with a Degree in Finance and has since served as an assistant coach.
