Victor Carrano

 Victor Carrano '21 is in his third season as assistant coach of the men's and women's cross country teams.

He assists Head Coach Angeoline Piguave-Cowan in all areas of the cross country program.

In his first season, he helped coach the men to their best-ever finish of second place at the 2021 CUNYAC Finals.

A Macaulay Honors College student, Carrano graduated with a 3.89 grade-point average as a Finance major. He was named a 2020-21 CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and twice was named to the Baruch Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll.

As an undergraduate, he excelled for the Bearcats earning all-conference accolades as a sophomore and junior, highlighted by an eighth-place finish at the 2019 CUNYAC Cross Country Championships.

He was also voted Baruch Men's Cross Country MVP twice. In addition, he was also Baruch's top finisher at the 2019 NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships in Canton, New York.

Outside of athletics, Carrano was a member of the CUNY Service Corp that traveled to Puerto Rico in 2019 to assist in repairing homes damaged by Hurricane Maria.
