Men's Basketball Stays Undefeated in CUNYAC, Defeat Medgar Evers

The men's basketball team continued their winning ways defeating the Cougars of Medgar Evers College, 87-39, in Friday night CUNYAC action in Brooklyn.

The visiting Bearcats had a balanced scoring attack this evening with every player scoring and 13 different players grabbing at least one rebound to stretch their CUNYAC win streak, dating back to last season, to 15 in a row.

They led 45-16 at halftime and finished with a 51-39 advantage on the boards.

Devin Nicholson was the game's top scorer with 11 points, while Jehmehl Fair had 10 and Gerard Nicholson nine.

Akil Vaughnn grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench.

The defense was solid with 13 steals and limited the Cougars to just 6-of-26 from three.

Nicholas Guillen led the Cougars with eight points and six rebounds.
