Melissa Dominguez

Melissa Dominguez is in her first season as assistant volleyball coach at Baruch College.

The native of Staten Island will assist Head Coach Ezri Shor in all facets of the program.

Melissa played two years at Queensborough Community College (QCC) and won two CUNYAC Championships during 2016 and 2017. She also won their region and attended the NJCAA Tournament during her two seasons at QCC.

In high school, she played four years of varsity volleyball at Susan E. Wagner High School on Staten Island. She also served as manager of the men's volleyball team during her four years.

Since her playing days, she has been very busy coaching volleyball.

As a coach, she has plenty of experience with:
* Asphalt Green Volleyball Club for two years and she worked with the Under 14 and Under 16 teams.
* Notre Dame Girl’s School as the Varsity and Junior Varsity Head Coach for five years. 
* Under 15 team at International Volleyball Club for 1 year. 
* She also coached at a Community Program in Astoria, Queens. The focus was to give all individuals access to volleyball no matter their skill or age. 

Melissa's experience also includes working for Big City Volleyball as a Youth Program Manager where she helped oversee operations and coaching clinics/education.

She graduated from QCC in 2020 with an Associates Degree.
