The men's volleyball team stretched their winning streak to five after defeating York College on Tuesday and Lehman College on Thursday in a pair of 3-0 CUNYAC sweeps at home in the ARC Arena.
Against York, the Bearcats pounded out 35 kills hitting .349 compared to eight kills and a negative .163 by York.
Juancarlos Henriquez led the attack with nine kills followed by
Peter Gavroff with eight kills (.462) and eight aces
Ryan Oommen dished 31 assists in the victory.
Against Lehman College, the Bearcats dictated the pace again hitting .500 with 43 kills compared to 16 with a .053 hitting percentage by Lehman.
Different faces starred tonight in the win with
Haoxin Hu totaling 13 kills hitting .579.
Aleksandr Howard (.438) and
Argjend Osmanaj (.579) led the victorious attack with eight kills each. Oommen was busy again dishing out 35 assists.
The Bearcats will resume action next Tuesday with a CUNYAC match at CCNY.
