Men's Volleyball Lose Tough Season-Opener in Five Sets to Arcadia

The men's volleyball team lost a heart-breaker on Saturday afternoon to Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia.

They lost by two points (15-13) in the fifth-set tiebreaker in an evenly played match that could have gone either way.

The Bearcats totaled more kills (48-43) and a better-hitting percentage (.229 to .098) this afternoon, but the host Knights made the points count in the end.

The team will return home for a pair of home matches this week against nationally-ranked opponents starting with the NCAA Division III defending champions #1-ranked Stevens on Tuesday and then #9 NYU on Thursday.
