Men's Volleyball Wins CUNYAC Regular Season Title, Win Streak Reaches 14

The men's volleyball team went on the road Thursday night to record a 3-0 victory against the Lightning of Lehman College.

The visiting Bearcats posted scores of 25-9, 25-18, and narrowly won the third highly competitive set 27-25.

They hit for 36 total kills (.295), while their opponent had 21 kills (.000).

The entire squad saw action as the team won their 14th match in a row and will finish the CUNYAC regular season standing in first place (12-0) with two matches left in the regular season.

Argjend Osmanaj totaled eight kills, while Jack Centeno had eight (.417) and Juancarlos Henriquez finished with six.

Ryan Oommen dished out 15 assists and Jackson Newcomb had 13 assists.

Ari Osmanaj totaled six block assists in the road victory.

Ray Rodriguez was tops for the Lighting with seven kills.
