The men's volleyball team finished the regular season portion of their schedule with a 3-0 sweep against the Cougars of Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn.
The visiting Bearcats posted scores of 25-15, 25-8, and 25-7 hitting .453 compared to nine kills and a negative .157 by the Cougars.
Ten different Bearcats recorded at least one kill in the win that stretches the team's win streak to 16 in a row dating back to January.
Jack Centeno (.625) and
Peter Gavroff (.444) led the attack this evening with five kills each.
Ryan Oommen dished out 12 assists.
The Bearcats will next begin their participation in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament on Thursday, April 11, with a 6:00 p.m. home semifinal match against the quarterfinal round winner between Lehman and Brooklyn College.
The Bearcats earned a bye directly to the semifinal round after clinching first place (undefeated 14-0 record) in the CUNYAC regular season standings.
