Bearcats Defeat Brooklyn (6-3)

The women's tennis team recorded a 6-3 CUNYAC road win against the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats (3-0, 2-0 CUNYAC) won the first two doubles and four of the six singles to stay undefeated on the young season schedule.

The #1 doubles tandem of Allie Jackson-Hing and Isabel Arias won, 8-0. Hayley Bester was victorious at third singles, 6-0, 6-0, while Sharada Tangirala came up big in fifth singles by winning, 6-1, 6-0.

The Bearcats will continue their CUNYAC schedule on Monday, September 19 , with a 7 p.m. home contest against John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
