Compliance Overview



Baruch College is a member of Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As a member institution, the conduct of the College’s intercollegiate athletic program with regard to “basic athletic issues such as admissions, financial aid, eligibility and recruiting” is governed by rules and regulations (called “legislation”) set out in the NCAA Constitution and bylaws. 

The Baruch College Athletics compliance office seeks to carry out the following 
essential functions in a manner that promotes a positive compliance atmosphere and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to highest standards of ethical behavior.

The Assistant Athletic Director for Academics, Compliance and Eligibility, in coordination with the Director of Athletics & Recreation, is directly responsible for ensuring that the College is meeting its obligation to apply and enforce these rules.

This website is intended to provide you with a general understanding of NCAA regulatory guidelines.Baruch College Athletics needs your help in complying with these rules and regulations in order to maintain the welfare of the University, the athletics program and most importantly, the Baruch College student-athletes.
